The calculator uses reference single-journey fares and pass rules to compare point-to-point tickets, the Half Fare Card, continuous and Flex passes, and Jungfrau combinations. The least expensive estimate receives a price score of 99.

- Routes included with the VIP Pass can vary by season and operating period.
- Departures from Interlaken use the long-course fare; departures from Grindelwald Terminal or Lauterbrunnen use the short-course fare.
