How to use Swiss Travel Pass Check (click to expand)
1) Enter travelers
- Start by entering the number of Adults (25+), Youth (16–25), Children (6–15), and Infants (0–5).
2) Select season
- Pick a travel date and the season is set automatically. If your trip is near the boundary, you can override it manually.
3) Choose passes / tickets
- Select only the passes or tickets you actually plan to use.
4) Choose regions & routes
- Expand a region and check only the routes you will actually take.
5) Enter route fares
- Search fares on SBB or the operator website, then enter Adult / Youth / Child / Infant fares separately.
- Routes fully covered by your selected pass are locked automatically as CHF 0.
6) Review the result
- Check the total on the left and the breakdown below to see which routes are free, discounted, or still need fare input.

Swiss Travel Pass (Continuous)
Routes fully covered by the pass are locked automatically as CHF 0.
Swiss Family Card is available for free on request. Children aged 6 to under 16 travel free when accompanied by at least one parent with a valid Swiss Travel Pass.
When checked, children are treated as CHF 0 in Swiss Travel Pass pricing. On free pass-covered routes, child/infant fare inputs are locked automatically.
Swiss Travel Pass Flex
Routes fully covered by the pass are locked automatically as CHF 0.
Swiss Family Card is available for free on request. Children aged 6 to under 16 travel free when accompanied by at least one parent with a valid Swiss Travel Pass Flex.
When checked, children are treated as CHF 0 in Flex pricing. On free pass-covered routes, child/infant fare inputs are locked automatically.
Swiss Half Fare Card
A card that lets you buy most public transport tickets at 50% price.
Jungfrau VIP Pass
If used together with Swiss Half Fare or Swiss Travel Pass/Flex, overlap discount is applied automatically to the adult fare.
Included routes are shown as CHF 0 and locked automatically.
One Jungfraujoch round trip (Eigergletscher ↔ Jungfraujoch) is treated as included in VIP.
